In 1895, the Mock family planted their first orchard just outside Melbourne. Five generations later, they continue to grow apples in the picturesque hinterland of Red Hill, Victoria. The Mock family became pioneers within the Bio-Dynamic movement in Australia when their orchard was first certified in 1974. Today the family continues to nurture and nourish the same certified orchard, creating a unique range of bio-dynamic products.
Several different brands fall under the “Mock” banner. Mock Orchards Fresh Fruits, Mock Red Hill Alcoholic Apple Cider, as well as apple juice, sparkling apple and pear juice and apple cider vinegar are all produced on the farm. Their product range continues to grow as they continue to look for new ways to delight the palate.
The ‘Totally Pure Fruits’ part of the business produces an extensive range of Freeze-Dried fruits and vegetables. Their unique method of freeze-drying food ensures it retains all of its fibre and up to 95% of all nutrients.

Totally Pure Fruits was founded in 1995, 20 years after converting to Bio-dynamic farming. Without the use of conventional chemicals and pesticides on the apple orchard the Mock family saw an increase in second grade fruit, which lead to a lot of wasted apples. The family spent many years investigating fruit drying and processing methods to value add, they discovered freeze drying as a gentle method of food preservation, custom built and designed their own unique Freeze Dryer and were up and running 5 years later in early 2000. Today, Totally Pure Fruits processes over 8 tonne of fruit a week, with their 8 state of the art machines and continuing to grow and expand their knowledge.
